3 Reasons to go to the Vira Vira Hacienda Hotel in Chile:
- for the location just outside Pucón, a postcard-perfect village on the shore of Lake Villarrica, dominated by the snowcapped volcano Villarrica. It’s considered Chile’s adventure playground because of its volcanoes and jagged peaks, dense forests, lakes, rivers and plunging waterfalls.
- for the farm-to-table concept. Yes, Vira Vira literally has its own on-site working farm and dairy, producing organic produce, fresh eggs, honey, grains such as wheat and barley (and its own bread), yoghurt, cheese and milk. Of course, every dish at lunch and dinner can be paired with the perfect Chilean wine.
- for the (outdoor) activities that include fly-fishing just outside your guest room door, horseback riding with the former trainer of the Spanish Olympic team, trekking through ancient forest, kayaking over the lake, climbing an active volcano, soaking in hot springs and a culinary tour.
